Bill Marshall, University of Glasgow

Bill Marshall is a Professor of Modern French Studies at the University of Glasgow in Great Britain. He is an author of Victor Serge The Uses of Dissent (1992), Guy Hocquenghem (1996), Quebec National Cinema (2000), and The French Atlantic: Travels in Culture and History (2008). An editor of an encyclopedia France and the Americas (2005) and a co-editor of Musicals – Hollywood and Beyond (2000), with Robynn Stilwell.

He specializes in French and Francophone cinema, Quebec politics and culture, sexualities, Atlantic studies, and post-colonialism.
