Edward Mozejko, University of Alberta

mozejkoEdward Możejko is a Professor Emeritus of Comparative Literature and Slavic Studies, Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and the former chair of the Department of Comparative Literature at the University of Alberta. He is an editor of a bilingual quarterly Dialogi-Dialogues devoted to the Polish-Canadian culture, and the chief editor of the Canadian Slavic quarterly – Canadian Slavonic Papers (1991-2002).

His publications concern some theoretical and historical problems of the European literary modernism, multiculturalism and Russian literature of the 20th century. The Polish translation of his book Socialist Realism: Theory, Evolution, Decline appeared in 2001 and was published by Universitas in Kraków.
